Introducing 01Health: the infrastructure layer for specialist medicine

Today we're launching 01Health, a shared platform infrastructure for specialist clinical verticals, built to power the next generation of healthcare software.

For the past three years, we've been building 32Co, an orthodontic and dental SaaS platform used by hundreds of clinics across the UK. Along the way, we kept solving the same problems: patient identity, clinical workflows, pricing logic, communication rails, and the gap between what happens in the chair and what gets documented in the system.

We realised these weren't dental problems. They were healthcare problems. And the right response wasn't to keep patching them inside a single vertical; it was to build them once, properly, and let specialist products plug in on top.

What is 01Health?

01Health is the infrastructure layer that sits beneath our specialist verticals. It handles the hard, shared work: identity, data architecture, billing logic, AI tooling, design systems - so that each vertical can focus entirely on its clinical domain.

Our first two verticals are live today: 32Co for dental and orthodontics, and Aerox for sleep medicine. Both are built on the same underlying platform, sharing components, data models, and the same design language.

Why now?

Specialist healthcare is fragmented by design. Each discipline has grown its own tooling in isolation, legacy systems that don't talk to each other, that weren't built for modern clinical workflows, and that treat software as an afterthought rather than a lever for better outcomes.

At the same time, AI is making it possible to do things in healthcare that simply weren't feasible before: real-time diagnostics support, automated patient communication, treatment simulation, outcome prediction. These capabilities don't belong to one vertical. They belong to the platform.

What comes next?

We're not announcing a roadmap today. What we will say is that 01Health is designed to expand. The same infrastructure that powers a dental clinic's treatment workflow can power a sleep specialist's patient journey, or a dermatologist's diagnostic flow, or a fertility clinic's care pathway.
